Surely that depends on how you like to set your bike up?

If it helps, I have an 08 Hummer with TALAS forks and after much twiddling with the height adjust, I generally find myself riding it on the max travel setting except for steep uppy bits where I wind the forks down about 11 clicks if I have the time or inclination.

On that basis, I tend to find the bike feels more stable and I feel more centred with the forks set at max travel and therefore a more relaxed head angle at both higher and lower speeds.

Generally, I like to have quick handling bikes with steeper angles and I find the Hummer is still wonderfully responsive at the maximum fork travel.

I have no experience of the DT forks, but from what I understand from talking to those who do, they like them. But they might say that anyway because that was the buying choice they made.
