I’ve taken out my new bike for a quick road ride and have noticed a knocking sound coming from the forks during rebound. It seems to get worse the more I turn the rebound adjuster in a clockwise direction. Is it just a case that the forks need to be bedded in, or could there be something more sinister going on?

Have you had them uspide down? If they’re like the XCAM’s that they’re evolved from then you may need to prime them – have a look in the manual to see if this is still the case

Thanks – i’ll look at priming them. They’re new, so hopefully this’ll fix it.
