  • DT 340 hubs, can you get replacement steel freehub bodies?

I'm leaning more and more towards getting one of these hubs, however as i run singlespeed a lot of the time I'm wary of the alloy freehub body (although i've got one of those 'fat' surly cogs, so it mighten't be an issue).

Anyway, a trawl of the forum and the net will not tell me if DT supply replacement steel freehub bodies. Does anyone know one way or t'other?

don't worry if you can't find one. it won't be an issue with the surly cog.

Thats good to hear keavo, have you used one?

I've only used the surly cog on a Ti shimano freehub body, and its not done any damage, but then i didn't expect it to.

used surly and on-one wide based cogs on hope pro2 and chris king alloy freehubs. no problem.
