    Having seen how long it took the builders to complete the wall of a neighbours house, I have concluded that to have built all the dry stone walls in the lakes would take infinity months…

    One of them at the top of Kidstones had a good go at claiming a very nice road bike propped against it yesterday. The bloke who pulled it down looked a touch embarrassed.
