Afternoon folks. im servicing my spesh command post and was wondering what the best grease is for the internals? could i use white lithium grease (good water inhibiting properties)?

You mean the collet assembly or the stanchion? I’d be fine with white lithium on the collet but would go for something like Stendec fork lube or Slick Honey on the uppy downy bit.

I use silicon spray on forks & slidey post.

LBS recommended Slick Honey to me for fork and dropper.

You can sometimes get Slick Honey from eBay – Stendec fork lube is available from CRC & is (AFAICS) pretty much the same stuff.

I used Stendec when I serviced my command post last summer and it’s still running fine, if that’s any help
