I am a bit late to remote dropper seat posts and so apologies if this has been done to death when they were new and exciting. Is there anyway to route external cabling so that it doesn’t look quite so naff? I don’t have any free cable mounts (and the majority that I do have are on the down tube). I tried google images but the majority of the routing looks a mess.

zip ties? you can get stick on cable guides and ones that bolt onto the existing ones.

Drill your frame for stealth routing…

Zip tie it to your rear brake cable?

Is the preferred approach to route it along existing cables then? Drilling would be cool but Hemlocks don’t have the best record for robustness as it is. 😉

I would run it along my brake cable personally. But, I have a frame with a pre-drilled “stealth” hole.

I’d just drill it? What harm can it do….. 8)
