am currently playing project gotham racing 4.i always find when playing a driving game (either with cars,or wipeout games e.t.c) that i always have to listen to the same music.for example i always have to listen to the men-covenant when i am playing pgr4.xpander-sasha when playing wip3out 3.even when i used to play test drive 4 (ps1) round my friend’s house.i always made him put ice rain-alex whitcombe on (it wasn’t a music track in the game). at present though am repeat playing this (whilst i am playing pgr4) anyone else do this too? 🙂

Fraid not. Realistic engine noises for me please when playing racing games.
Some of the Forza 4 sounds are amazing.

How can you here what the car is doing with a soundtrack dominating the sound? You need to be able to here what the car is doing to optimise your speed especially in full sim mode.

I suppose you can get away with it in PGR as it’s very arcade orientated.
