    SRAM chains – tales of woe? I've had one on and it's seemed prone to snapping, and has now twisted. I don't think I put undue strain on them at all. Are shimano back in favour now?

    Jockey wheels on XT rear mech. Interchangable from old models?

    SRAM chains since about 2007 have been shit.

    Yes, jockey wheels are interchangeable AFAIK.

    Aye, SRAM have gone all wonky, Dura-ace 9spd with a 9spd powerlink for the win.

    Hot, crazy, stereotypically french. The Etape was fun, if rather crazy and Ventoux is a real killer.
