...snapped bolt in a bottle cage boss rivnut thing. How much approximately to drill out and re-tap?

I was able to tap a small torx driver in enough to get some purchase and be able to keep the pressure on to screw it right though till it dropped out on the inside

Dremel to get the sheared bit flat enough to get a central point and a size-minus-1mm drill bit to get down the inside as close to the threads as possible, then tap the bolt in on itself, it'll probably fall out fairly easily. Then tap to clean threads.
Probably cost you about £30 at an engineering place.

Depending on how deep the shear is, you can use a fine dremel cutting tool to form a new slot for screw driver.
Only works if the remaining bolt isn't too tight in the thread.Posted 5 months ago # -
If you can get a drill central on it (might need to center punch it), go one size bigger each time. If you get it right it should come out as a spiral.
Did this on an engine head after shearing a spark plug and worked a treat.

Tricky , drilling down the centre of an m5 bolt ,
Centre punch as near to the centre of the bolt and try with a 2 or 3 mm drill get someone to eye up the drill to ensure you a perpendicular to the frame tube ,
If you have an easyout or screw extractor try it but be careful as these can snap and cannot be drilled out, you will have to find your local spark eroding man,
You could try drilling the whole rivnut out but sometimes they just spin in the frame ,but if they do come out they are Esau to fit even without the special tool
You could always hold that end of the bottle cage on with a jubilee clip
