i've smoked weed for over 13 years (i'm 27 now), the last 10 years habitually 3-4 times a day everyday and have always had bizarre dreams.
the above isn't entirely true as i've not had a smoke for over three weeks, but my dreams haven't changed. i dreamt my housemate was shagging some girl from my old school days in a room with lots of people egging him on, taking pictures and offering advice. and then his girlfriend finding out after he was showing everyone the pics.
weird.

Thanks for the replies folks. Some helpful, some not so helpful.
I admit, self loathing was maybe a bit strong. I'm not about to start self-harming or anything like that. Maybe mental discomfort is more apt.
Just to add context (or fuel to fire), it wasn't just anyone I dreamt about, but an old flame from many years ago that was my first love and still kinda represents my "what-if....." girl.
I think that's where most of the guilt comes from; that it was with someone whom I once had very strong feelings for (and still think about from time-to-time).
Anyway, I totally accept that we can have no control over what we dream about and have mentally (no pun intended)put the matter to bed.

Its not just weed + cheese, a work mate has stopped smokin + is on 24hr patches. He said he is having the best dreams of his life. Most seem 2 involve sherol cole + amanda holden being "nice" 2 each other !

Last night I dreamt that I was visiting an exhibition of the work of Johnson Banks, in a shopping mall in Berlin which was also near a bridge where I live in Sheffield, whilst wearing nothing but a bath towel.
Dreams are stupid, ignore them.

On more serious note, whilst I don't have nightmares or really vivid dreams as a rule (I wake myself up) I have dreamt that my teeth are falling out, dream was of me lying in bed as I was etc etc, so very real. Not nice.

I don't think I've ever remembered a dream that I was pleased to be able to remember.
In particular, if I remember dreaming about sex it's because I've dreamt something disgusting, humiliating or guilt-inducing.

I'm sad I don't have many sex dreams, but since the other person is often highly inappropriate, perhaps it's just as well, however many of my other dreams are fascinating (to me) or just plain weird, and some I remember fondly for decades

google images! not mine and i agree whole-heartedly. i haven't a smoke-smoke in 3 weeks and counting. although i'm counting down to the day that our housemate comes back from Aachen on the Dutch border.
although, i did get a bit twitchy last night as i thought my mate was burning a bit of solid. it turned out to be orange peel????!!!!!???
