They’re a weekday product you weirdos; who has doughnuts on a Saturday night?!

Tonight, excess calories should be consumed as such:

They don’t make doughnuts like they used to mind. Nice traditional jam one with wrinkly crispy skin and loads of sugar can’t be beaten. The super market ones are awful

Problem is, they go stale so quick; you justify it to yourself that its okay to eat the whole bag. Then you realise they were on a special offer and you bought 2 bags. Give it half an hour and get started on those too.

    😳

    Voodoo donuts in Denver,

They have a branch in Denver now? I’ve been to their shop in Portland. Prudes would be wise to search elsewhere for sugary rings.

British doughnuts are just wrong. Americans make them properly. Don’t know what it is but they’re far better and not so heavy and stale. Utterly unhealthy though.

Still though, down under they’re a step ahead…

Jam is the right answer, custard is edible but wrong, don’t get me started on chocolate doughnuts 😈

Warm, freshly made doughnuts at Chessington later today with a blisteringly hot coffee….hmmmm. They do something crazy like 6 for £5 or 10 for £6….it can sometimes be a bit of a challenge at the end but I hate waste.

My Grandfather in law was one of Londons most famous Jewish bakers (Kossoffs), he’s 90 now but still bakes at home. Fresh doughnuts and Bagels, I have to fast after visiting!
