Afternoon all. Any suggestions for a reputable double glazing company to the south of York (Wheldrake to be precise).

Trying to help out a family member who has just been stung big time by a less than scrupulous (read aggressive and threatening) roofing company. The dodgy roofer was selected using one of the trusted tradesmen websites (not sure which one) but going by the fact that the roofer demanded payment within 2 hours of job completion otherwise he’d rip the roof off with crowbars suggests to me that he hadn’t been to customer care classes.

Not wishing to make a similar mistake, I’m looking for a good double glazing company to replace all windows (UPVC) and external doors.

    Thanks….

Graham Hudson, should come up if you google him.

Very nice chap, one man band type operation. Used him for years and is more of a fix what you’ve got rather than charge the earth for replacement type bloke.

    edit: here you go

We just had some windows from Kingfisher windows in Drighlington (near leeds) – can’t fault the service and the price was very good. They reckon they cover out as far as York…
