The wire 4.0 Juggernaut is <1400g, a Floater is way more. If it wasn’t, yeah I might’ve put a white one on

I think I said something about hydraulics. As it happens, the Deore V-brake is more powerful than the BB7 at the moment

1400 is pretty good for a fat tyre. Though I don’t think that juggernaught will be any good in the mud, when it comes.

Been riding my half fat Jones, as my only bike, for nearly 6 years now, love it! My tyres range from 1150 to 1600g 😉

I posted up my new HT a while back, and nobody seemed interested in the bike especially, but the choice of background and excessive foliage on the floor behind the bike garnered much criticism! Exactly as to be expected…

I used my specialized epic frame and slapped an on one front in it. I also put a narrow mud tyre on the rear.

It worked ok in the mud of the wyre, saved my other bikes a lot of abuse. It self steered like a pig, looked a bit odd and i felt the fat front didn’t help my riding skill, it flattered the rider.

I soon broke it for bits and have a 27.5+ now which seems a lot more rounded

-Yep. Front wheel goes where you point it. Sketchy looking roots ahead soon becomes what roots? as you steamroll over them. Leant over there’s lots of grip and it’s always the rear that’ll break loose first. To my surprise I carved a nice Sam Hill-esque inside line on a downhill corner which led me to exclaim “I AM A CYCLING GOD” to no-one in particular
