Cleaning lady reminded me last night.

I forgot and headed to the long flowers queue at Tesco…

M&S ebsite has been crap yesterday and this morning – giving up and heading to LFS before tyre investigations and ride (hopefully)

**** amazon decided to ruin the wife’s new running top suprise from the kids by plastering it all over any Web pages she visited yesterday on the laptop. I didn’t even order it from amazon or even search for it in the computer just on my phone 👿

    The cleaner at work Drac.

A little card or a thank you goes a long way.
Yes I know it’s a marketing thing like valentines.

Don’t leave the £10 sticker on the flowers either.

    Chocolates are going cheap too.

And this is why shared logins are a bad idea.

Podted this a year ago, seems like quite a few of you used it as Mother’s Day breakfast.

Actually Mothering Sunday is a Christian festival, albeit one that is heavily marketed by card companies.

Yeah sorry for those who have poor relationships or have lost their mother.

I think this will be the last one for my mother (B cell lymphoma) second time after recovering and our relationship went stale. We care but personalities clash and she is a terrible patient.

What a ****t I would be if I forgot the last Mother’s Day. Don’t do the same as me.

Bought some flowers, a quirky card and Thorntons – which I’ll probably eat more of as she’s not greedy like me. 🙂

I too did the shuffle of shame to the shop to pay my annual Guilt Tax at the last minute, along with other people also buying ££££££s of landfill.

Though tracing the history back beyond the American commercialisation, Mothering Sunday or 4th Sunday in Lent had little to do with appreciation of your mother, it was about honouring the mother church.

Ajax ran onto the pitch holding hands with their mothers today instead of local school children which is rather a nice touch.

Bought flowers on behalf of the wee one, wife came in at 4 ish today having been away since Fri afternoon, announces that we’re off to see her mother and would I mind if she gave her flowers to her mum. I gave her a look of disgust and later this evening threw the bunch into the outside bin. She’s upstairs now in a huff as if I’m the bad one!!!
