Bingo is sleeping alot, looking lost with himself and yesterday he didnt move at all for an hour- just stared at the wall!

    Is this normal?

Could be related to your partner being pregnant.

Our normally happy collie cross went mental when Jo was pregnant with Toby. Proper nasty. Attacking her, shitting all over the house.

We had to let my mum and dad look after him.

Archie (also a Westie) can be like that as well at times.

How is Bingo when out for a walk?

and why are you mothering him by wrapping him up in a blanket?

EDIT: get rid of wife then

Maybe he's struggling with his sexuality. Have you taken him to a therapist, or relate yet?

My dog got depressed when I was in hospital last summer. Off food, lazy, seeking affection/reassurance.
