Bought some today. It will be consumed atop rice crackers with a light dusting of freshly ground pepper.

    I miss pizza.

No, you’re thinking of leek and potato soup.

Yes, all the time. It’s a big thing in central europe. The rank salted low fat lumpy stuff we get in the UK is a poor imitation of cottage cheese. The good stuff comes in a block, has a decent % fat and is great on its own or with sweet or savoury things.

Edit: the lumpy stuff we get is related to cottage cheese in a similar way Kraft cheese slices are to proper mature cheddar.

Yes, on jacket spuds and in Lasagne instead of bechemel sauce – much nicer.

Often have it as a low carb meal before I go to bed. Cottage cheese is high in Micellar Casein protein, a slow release protein that “drip feeds” into your muscles overnight. Alright it’s pretty rank on its own so I always mix it with some peanut butter (healthy fats) and a scoop of flavoured protein powder for an extra kick of protein and to make it more palatable. Sounds horrible but it’s really nice 🙂

After overdosing on cottage cheese and tuna last year – cant stand the sight of it…

Mixed it with some ruhbarb and cream whey powder on one occasion – totally gagging.

But tbh if your doin the muscle thing and cant stand chicken youve got got to have a few options 🙁

Cottage cheese and pineapple is my go to option to put off any late night junk food cravings. Good source of slow release protein I’m told.

I knead it together with rice cakes and tofu and then throw it a mangy dog. Then I go and have a pie.
