    I do 😯

There about 3.5 years old Reba’s, ridden year round. That’ll teach me to not service things!

I’ve already replaced them as I was pretty sure the bushings we’re shot. Fork servicing always scared me until I decided to attempt lowering the replacements and realised it was a doddle, now I’ll be doing it regularly! Might try and salvage the damper for the wife’s Reba’s.

Those probably aren’t beyond repair to be honest, it looks like the damage is below seal level so a good rub down with very fine wet and dry until they are smooth and they should be usable. The bushings in your lowers will most likely need replacing though and unless you are very fussy with rubbing down the damage they won’t last long

It looks like your fork lowers were dry of lubricating oil and some water has made it’s way into the lowers causing the damage, it’s so easy to do and saves knackered forks

    Ouch

It now makes me both more and less keen to drop my lowers off….
