… Of your old bike when you get a new one?

I have rebuilt all of my old ones and very reluctantly sold one of them. Gutted coz it had a decent chromoly frame.

I’ve also got a cupboard full of part worn bike bits still, enough to build an old hack.

Will I be able to resist an ebay bargain hunt to get the necessary remaining bits to make up another bike?

Seems such a waste to leave this stuff unused.

    Am I wrong?

so build an old hack. I did it back in 2005 and have ridden it to work every day ever since.

Where possible I keep the OE bits from every bike I buy and when the time comes to sell it I put the OE bits back on

Have absolutely no probs letting the bike go.

Edit: also useful if one has to make a warranty claim to show that one hasn’t been downhilling on one’s XC bike *cough*
