We crack a can of Guinness into the horses feed on christmas.
Cats will generally get a nibble of the meat cut-offs. Not much more. Unless its salt n vinegar crisps ... they steal them out of my hand sometimes.
wierdo cats.

My dog loves veggie food too! If I have any vegetables, however cooked, or not cooked, she does a little tap dance in anticipation. She LOVES vegetables and I mean loves. Raw broocoli is her absolute fave, followed by cauliflower. I had a solstice veggie soup/stew thingy today, she devoured hers in two seconds flat.
She got a present too
Gus takes Christmas seriously....
Yes. Why not? Only once a year.
Our dog gets some chicken or beef every Sunday. She watches us eat ours and then gets the scraps afterwards. That's how dogs understand their place in the pack. No gravy or stuff, just plain meat.
The cats can suffer though. Evil, self-centred warlocks. Why should they have anything nice?
My dogs get the dinner table scraps but tbh they wolf it down so quickly I doubt they can taste any of it!
Our dog got some turkey and veg with gravy last year. He loved it but left a row of green beans by the side of his bowl, all licked clean and lined up like soldiers.
she'll get some turkey as well. I did get her a present: an Oinky Pig
:Update: She threw up the turkey overnight and Oinky Pig had his snout chewed off in under an hour and now lacks oink

I thought that too with our Lab ( he'll eat anything but lemons ) so I snook a piece of lemon in with everything else everything wolfed in 3seconds flat. Lemon wasn't touched.
They know
Our Archie, gets Turkey and a bit of some 'Pigs in blankets'
oh and more pressies than me
Our dog gets some turkey, yorkshire puds, broccoli and gravy - he's very lean too, so a bit of turkey juice/fat/skin doesn't do him any harm either. He obviously loves turkey, but wolfes the broccoli down too - doesn't like carrots though.
