Paul Simon’s “Graceland”

Popped into my head out of nowhere a few weeks ago and I tracked it down . It invokes so many memories and it’s a fantastic album.

Not very often, but played this the other day and its bloomin fantastic

Funny that, I played ‘Songs for a Tailor’ by Jack Bruce for the first time in about 20 years, although I do occasionally sing bits of it (to myself, of course, wouldn’t want anyone else to hear). Brilliant. Weird but brilliant.

Been a decade since I listened to Plans and Designs by Faze Action – found it again, loaded it onto iPod and was pleasantly surprised.
Also, there are those albums that you never get into in the first place. A long train journey and being too tired to press forward allowed me to finally enjoy Charles Mingus’ Black Saint and the Sinner Lady. Mad but awesome.

what i like is when you play something on top quality stereo and hear bits in there that you missed before .stuff like hendrix where there all amnner of subleties that I didn’t get the 1st time.
