‘Cos I’m sure I saw one on the peanut birdfeeder in the garden this morning.

If not, what looks like a woodpecker and eats peanuts?

Yes – they’ll empty a peanut feeder in no time!

    A nutpecker?

We actually have a couple of woodpeckers at our feeders but they’re usually full of the seedy type stuff.

Our seedy type feeder attracted nothing at all (we had one fatball feeder, one peanut and one seeds), so we took it down as the seeds were just going mouldy.

And I’d bought two big bags of seeds on BOGOF 🙁

A greater spotted one outside my office now scoffing peanuts, a family of them empty the feeder in a day, other birds fly off as soon as they appear
