Mass clear out of Chez Wrighty starts next week before the big renovation, this will include burning loads of useless old paperwork. However was just wondering whether old car insurance history was worth keeping?

It should roll over from your current insurers. That’s what mine always has, the new insurance company just asked for proof from the previous one

Some companies will keep a longer history than others.
    Worth keeping.

Just scan/photograph it & stick it on the cloud if you’re worried.

Really the question boils down to:

“Do I want to give an insurance company any excuse to screw me over?”

If you’ve got proof of anything to your advantage I would hang on to it, it gives them one less technicality to use to take the piss. I don’t like insurance companies.

Just the previous years renewal invite, no need to keep older ones.
As above I would just take a picture of it.

Ive never had issues just keeping last years documents for proof of NCB,no need to keep years of paperwork.

Most email the documents anyway, so I just keep the email with attached documents in a sub folder in my inbox.
