    It appears that I do as the cassette is wobbly, but I just wanted to check/find out why. Google has produced nowt. Thanks!

    Road cassette no, MTB yes, I think.

    11 speed mtb cassette- yes, 11 speed road cassette – no. Spacer should have come with the hub/wheel.
