Not sure what the On One is like but I feel it may have more resale than the viking if you don’t like it, the fuji track is also about the same price at evans and again probably better residual value. if you do it go fixed

I have a SS as my commuter for which it makes perfect sense as almost zero maintenance. I would never have one as a mtb or road bike though.

I have just bought the macinato, thread here I love it but can’t help wondering if I should have spent 150 quid on the viking citi fix for possibly the same level of pleasure. I just use it for short commutes and the like, I reckon the kit on the viking is not far off the macinato in terms of quality. TBH wish I’d seen it first, story of my life. although I think the macinato in xs small is perfect size for me, and the smallest viking might feel like a gate. The cost of being a midget.

This is the macinato next to my mates cooper spa at 800 quid..

That viking is H-ten steel, if the On-one joke is they’re made of gas pipe, then the viking is rusty scafold pole, I’d pay the extra.
