  • Do I need a new BB for 1×11 Boost?

    New frame is 148 Boost. I’ve got new Shimano XT M8000 Boost cranks. Can I use my current XT MT800 (68mm) BB or Do I need a new one. It fits into a Bushnell EBB.

    No, you should be fine. The boost bit is taken care of in the positioning of the chainring rather than widening the crank and BB itself. Boost is 6mm wider, so the cassette is 3mm further out, therefore the chainring line is 3mm further out.
