I have 10sp XT med cage mech, 11-36 10sp XT cassette, XT 10sp shifters.

    Just need a chain.

Can only find this one in stock, its the Ultegra 10sp chain. Will it work and will it be long enough?

    Thanks!

shimano 10sp needs a specific MTB chain, a road one won’t work.

Rubbish. 10sp road chains work fine.

The Shimano 10sp MTB chains are directions specific, but that doesn’t mean that you have to run it.
Any 10sp chain (road or MTB) will work fine.

Must say I’m with Matt. An MTB one may shift marginally better, but a road one will be fine!
