Balls, smashed my iPhone 5 screen yesterday when it fell out my pocket.

How hard is it to do a replacement with a 30quid kit off eBay?

Anyone have any recommendations who to get a screen off?

@wysiwygdoes them. I had a had a play trying to replace a broken 4 front screen, “impossible” and I knackered it.,rear screens are easy, fronts more complex I think

Bought one for under £20 last year (Feb.) from “silverelectron” on eBay. Turned up in a couple of days, and I gave £20 to one of my colleagues in the IT department to swap it over; I’d watched a few videos and realised that I didn’t want to take the risk of DIY, even with wysiwyg of this parish pointing out the pitfalls.
Screen colour was slightly different (a little cooler/bluer), but no problems with visibility or digitiser sensitivity.
