After a recent thread about replacing discs I was wondering about the SRAM centreline discs on my road bike.
Can you fit any manufacturers discs of the right diameter and fitting?
And what real differences are there between discs apart from icetech? Is a Clarks at £5.99 as good as an SLX at £16.99?

Apart from centerlock orbthe more common 6 bolt, yes you can use any as long as the size is the same.

As to whether a shimano xyz is better than some other brand..hard to say, some designs might be lighter/noisier/weaker etc depending on the drilling and shape..
