I am going to get my downhill frame re-painted but the rear brake hose is thread through the rear triangle(Orange 223).
What is the best way of taking it out without the fluid going all over?
    Cheers Rob.

Unless you’ve got a crimped-on end at the caliper, then remove the lever from the bar and hang it down as far as possible to reduce gravity assisted spillage. Disconnect the caliper, remove fittings from hose and pull it through slowly, holding it close to the rubber grommet to stop it flicking when it comes out.You can pull it through the other way, but it’s easier this way, and certainly easier to get it back through from the front of the swingarm.
