not sure on the terminology, but i am experiencing my discs gradually creeping on, (the pads start to rub on the discs) this is without touching the levers. when i do touch the levers it goes away.

Anyone reason for this and how do you fix it.

    it is a shimano br675.

You’re describing this as a problem with both brakes, which would be rather odd. If it was just one of them, I’d suggest bleeding (though you probably need to do this anyway), but for both to do this, that’s strange. Has it started doing this suddenly or has the bike been left unused for a few years ?
Also check the alignment of the calipers. If they’ve been installed misaligned with the rotors and the pads have worn at an angle, this can cause drag problems. If it’s really bad, you might need to re-align the calipers (pistons parallel to rotors) and start with new pads.

I had this in both brakes. I think the fact that the bike was stored in a steamy kitchen meant that the brake fluid absorbed water. Bleed cleared it.

    Thanks

Bike had been stored for a year or two with only little use.
After a little fettle it looks like its just the front brake.
I’ll get them bled and see if that helps.
