Hi all, very noobish question here (sorry).

I’ve got a kit from tftuned so I can do a lower leg service on my revelations.

I’ve just been wondering if I can use my Halfords disc brake cleaner to do clean inside the lower legs? I’ve read Isopropyl alcohol is recommended but doesn’t this generally do the same job as disc brake cleaner?

It may be the same, should say on the can. Spray cans of Isopropyl can be bought from Maplins.

IPA or contact cleaner is better, brake cleaner has extras (meaning it’s harsher) in that can cause issues especially if they’ve been re painted.

Flush with hot water afterwards too and rod out with paper towel and blow dry if you have an air line.
