Any alternatives a Problem Solver? I know it’s a niche bit of kit but they’re twice the price of the actual mech!

Are you trying to run a road front mech with a top-pull cable setup ?

If it’s a 34.9 seat tube and a 73mm shell then this might do,
Otherwise a top band duel pull mech with half the arm sawn off to make it top pull only gives a lot of clearance..

Road type curvy one or flat faced mtb one? I believe planet x have both.

MTB – but has to do a 31.8/32.0mm seattube.

Road front mechs tend to be quite low profile.
