My TV has a freeview digiital tuner built in, all has been fine for the last couple of years but everytime I turn the TV back on I have to re tune it as I have lost all my BBC channels.
After I have reinstalled all channels, I store them all and everything is fine but when I turn TV off then back on all the BBC channels have one!

Can any of the STW massive shed any light on this thanks!

Sounds like a software issue or a capacitor/battery has died somewhere on the tuner
not sure that either [or much else these days] is economical to repair

Sounds like it’s broke, assuming there’s no ‘save settings’ option you have to choose.

You can get a set top box for buttons these days.

Is there a ‘first time installation’ or factory reset in the menu? Our set top box did this when the local transmitter was changed. A retune would find the channels again, but it needed a full reset and rescan for it to remember the channels.
