    . IF you choose to draw a line somewhere, you can't argue when someone else draws it elsewhere, or draws it at the same place but chooses to save more elsewhere

    My original point was that you don't have an "allowance" to do with as you wish. It's not about fairness or 'they're using more than me that means I can use more'. It's about cutting down what's not necessary. And if you think a digital photo frame is necessary then you need a good hard look at your life.

    Now I'm feeling so guilty – I use 2 24" monitors side by side, a 4 core CPU with watercooling, 5TB disk storage and I have the TV on too 🙁 I should be using a pedal-powered netbook…

    If enough people vote Green that's precisely what will happen – you'd have a personal quota of Carbon (i.e., your energy use would be rationed).

    I wonder how many people who vote Green realise this…
