    i have an 80’s road bike knocking about at home with campy dropouts on the frame and fork,it was personalised with the name ‘poyner’ when it was bought so i have no idea what frame it is.does anyone know if campy made frames or just dropouts.any help would make me happy.cheers,the pixie

    It’s a poyner with Campag ends.

    Poyners was/is a bike shop in Wolverhampton west midlands, i used to frequent it as a teenager.

    I think campag made more than just dropouts, but certainly didn’t make frames.

    They also made wheels for Ferrari’s

    i have no idea,name les poyner rings a bell,think my dad mentioned it when he bought the bike.did’nt know it was a bike shop though.

    cool,campy was the stuff my dad used to sell my toys to buy!!got some record hubs,they are the thinnest things i have ever seen,they have a grease port with the coolest seal ever.works of art.
