Can someone please help me out here… due to me getting my new bike soon, the old man wants to join in on the game.

He is the ‘buy now, think later’ kinda chap and he saw the Myers 1.0 in the shop this afternoon at Shoreham and instantly wanted it (on looks alone I hasten to add).

I have looked at the specs, and not being an expert I don’t understand the price. Maybe you guys can see why its so expensive for what I can see is not a highly spec bike and hopefully I can talk him in to something better. Maybe I’m wrong and it’s a good buy.

I asked why he liked it and his exact response was the bendy top tube lol :-/

Pretty grim spec for almost a grand, i’d look elsewhere – something like a parkwood would be ideal if he likes a “bendy top tube”.

Lol. I thought that. Will send him the parkwood details now. Any particular model circa £900?
