their Event waterproof shorts were a size and half below what I’d normally expect.

Seems to be a bit variable – I’d read the reviews on there as they tend to indicate if there’s any anomolies.

I’m 6′, 33″ waist, 38″ chest & seem to take a large in everything DHB

Yep, i’ve found it comes up a bit small as well.

i think it depends alot on what product as i’ve found their bibs to be a little larger sized than some other brands – usually i go for a medium (sometimes even a large with some brands) but the medium in the dhbs was too big.

And just to add some confusion, their XXL merino base layers (crew neck), are a really good size and length for me (48″ chest, 42″waist) but obviously they are meant to be a snug fit so this is possibly not the most helpful response…
