    was just watching it. looks mental fast in places. there’s a course walk vid somehwere with people sliding on their butts down the track…

    it’s always far easier to ride down than walk down the steepest bits on a DH track.

    Course does look a bit random though – like they picked out all the rocks/drops they could find on the hillside, then just put arrows directing you between them!

    Fairly typical French trail-building approach mind you…

    I’ll hopefully be up there to catch some of the action tomorrow.

    I’m really hopeful that we’ll see a new face on top of the podium. A little sad that with red bull only broadcasting top 30 men we will miss both Hill and Gwin so may well not actually watch the winning run!

    Nah, any top 20 protected rider will be seeded to start just before the top 20. (ie. 21st to last off)
    quite a few of them in that boat for finals tomorrow.
