Sounds promising md, good luck...
Destroyed my carbon road bike :(
Replacement price is only £250 as well, a lot less than i was expecting/fearing!
I would be chuffed with that. Do you have to send back the old frame?
How does yours ride?
Like crap right now!
Its a lovely bike to ride which is why i'm so keen to get a replacement.
Bearing in mind its my first proper road bike & that i bought the Potenza, which is designed to be their 'endurance' model i.e. a little more relaxed than the more race bred Primo its a fantastic bike for the money. Very comfy over 100 miles & seems to get up to speed really easily (my perception!) The tapered full-carbon forks do seem to keep the front end more stable than i was expecting as well.
Mine came with a 105 groupset but the brakes were Mekk branded jobs that scared me rigid - soon replaced them with 105 range calipers.
Over all its a lovely bike to ride, just makes me want to keep going
Jamie - yes, they want the old frame back. Seemed more worried about botched repaiur jobs ending up on E-bay and damaging the brand than looking at the damage, after all it was a mechanical wreck not a manufacturing failure.
