I know the road’s closed at the weekend but is there anywhere to park further up towards Howden?

Anyone know for sure whether or not the parking restrictions that apply on the road up to Fairholmes apply on that section?

I was up there walking on Monday and there were plenty of cars up at the turning circle at Howden when I went past about 8.30pm.

Higgo – ‘for sure’ you can drive to the end of the access road midweek to shorten a there and back Cut Gate classic.
I think in summer it is shut Sat and Sun but in the winter Sun only.

Was once close due to slippage, mid week but got through.
