Just a dusting of an inch in spondon. Already had the puppy out thrashing around in it for the last half hour. He hadnt a clue what it was at first, but loved it. Suns shining, looks like its going to be a beautiful wintery day!

Wireworks as in the old factories LB now own? That’s as in the bridge that accesses them off the a6? God knows?

    No. Not a proper uni.

    Yep, thats right.

The road from the bridge that accesses from the A6 runs through the car park and under an arch in the factory meeting the track running parrelel to the A6 through the factory.

Here there is a short track running uphill into the woods and the house is on the left from this track in amongst the woods.

You will have ridden past it many times without noticing by the sound of things but I guess you will have still been buzzing too much from the descents in Shining Cliff to be distracted!

I am officially blind then and that building being derelict is a crying bloody shame by the look of it! And yes I love the downhill fun in the cliff!! 😀

Halfway through the wireworks there’s a big pillar on your right.

Follow the track up and round then you get to the house.

Somebody’s been there today, the road had been cleared of snow 😯

h4muf, great photos and happy memories, learnt the art of off-roading round those parts, graduated in the North Yorks Dales…….the rest is history.
