keep buying deore rings – middle – some fit my XT octalink 1 no bother sometimes they require their tabs filing off… cant seem to find out and lbs useless – think i need model 510?

IIRC the 510 need filing down, the 530 should fit straight on… though I just bought some from SJS which don’t even reach the tabs…hmmm maybe they were 530, as my crankset is the old 760 not the newer 770

I Ran those on my old stumpy – I changed them to middleburns but obviously much more expensive than Deore.

Don’t quote em on this but I think the arms on the M510 are slightly shorter but pbviouslt have teh same BCD as teh 530 which have longer arms – if you get the 510 it will fit most shimano cranksets whereas teh 530 maybe too long and require filling!
