we’ve resumed staying open until around 8pm on Thursday evenings again at Delamere Cafe.
Should be every Thursday unless it’s raining.
It’s the one at the visitor centre, not the railway station.

I don’t do guided rides anymore but Tracs the bike shop next door do.
They start around 6.30pm from outside the cafe, do around 2 hours.
They usually have 2 groups for different speed riders.

col, what time do they lock the car park gates over the summer, do you know?

Around 9pm ish. They should never lock you in though, they might close the swing gate nearest the railway bridge but not lock it.
If you park as close as possible to the cafe, my CCTV cameras have good coverage too.
