    rocket ron’s 24×2.10 ~ 445g (folding)
    kenda kenetic’s 24×2.35 ~750g (wire)
    Hutchenson toro 24×2.0 ~640g (wire)

while the rons are the lightest they don’t fit very well and you end up with an egg shape. They are also very thin, not very grippy and wear out ridiculously fast.

My kids have used the 24″ Rons for a few years. I haven’t seen any of the problems mentioned above. Originally running tubes, now have them set up tubeless.

have a look at the bead and you’ll see its uneven round the rim. as for the wear, depends where you cycle I suppose.

My lad’s rocket Rons, from a German web store, have been great, and again, I haven’t had the issues described above. Good volume off road tyre and have improved confidence on rougher ground.

    I’ve been wondering about these:
    650g
Maxxis Snyper Dirt Dual EXO 24×2.00

    Edit: Just seen these too:

I have checked the Rons as I have fitted them and honestly haven’t seen any problems. My son was using them on a fairly wide set of rims, with tubes, now on my daughters bike setup tubeless on Crest rims. My daughter is only 6 , so isn’t giving them a tough life yet, but my son used them loads. Everywhere from Swinley to Afan. The biggest issue he had was a series of snakebite punctures from heavy landings.
