  • Decent life AND injury insurance?

Just checked my life insurance and was surprised to see it covers me if I’m brown bread but not an injury etc.

Do I need to go with those specific mortgage cover/redundancy policies (that cost a bloody fortune)?

    Can’t you bolt on injury?

I’ve got a sickness/injury policy that covers me until retirement age which is cheap (think it’s legal and general, will need to check).

It’s not a lot of cover (£2k a month), but it’s only £25 a month and provided you keep up policy contributions it will cover you for as long as you’re unable to work. A friend of mine broke his neck a few years back and is paralysed. It was that event that made me take out the policy.

Check- Ive been with them 4yrs, checked on the off- chance. Nope. Only life (i.e death) and critical cover not injury.
