Any recommendations for decent levers to suit cable disc brakes?

My gf's bike has some Kooka cable disc brakes on, and tbh, they actually stop better than I expected, but could benefit from a better lever.

I gather that some levers have more adjustment, or better pull ratios than others?

I'm thinking of going for some Avid Speed Dial 7 levers (£10 a pair new), as I remember them being decent when I ran V's back in the day – but are any of the Shimano offerings worth considering?

I'd agree with the SD7 recommendation. SD5's or XT's are also pretty good.
