I'm still looking to replace my stolen hack/pub/camping bike

Has anyone got any experience of the basic Decathlon hardtails?
I was particularly looking at the Rockrider 5.2

Any other suggestions? £200 max, needs to be a MTB of some description

Hard to go wrong with that for the price, the black and white looks very nice too…

yep, my girlfriend has one. I went with her buying bikes, and i was blown away with this one – the VFM is amazing. The frame seems very good – well constructed, the forks work very very well for the price, though damping is crude/non existent the fork has plenty of movement and the seals are good.

the bike rides light and if you didn't know how much it cost you would swear it was at least twice the price, if not more. the frame even has a disc mount (as does the fork, though the wheels dont have a rotor mount) should you wish to upgrade the wheels and brakes at a later date.

I assume you've seen this bikeradar review?
