Not sure how accurate this is (found on a friends facebook wall)…and its the Daily Star. Fact or misreporting?

I’d treat the report with a pinch of salt – its easy to read it as if the story its coming from ‘the Professor’ but actually they’re presenting their story to him and he’s commenting on it – he only has their version of facts and figures to go on and is theorising around them

Saly people fall into canals and rivers not just for an early death, but because theyre there and they fall.

Considering the state of the folks out on the streets of Manchester at a weekend I’m surprised not more fall in.

Nine have drowned in the Avon in Bath over the last five years, and locals complain that’s nine too many, but sixty-one? 😯

Waterways and all. Imagine Manchester was more like Venice, 1,000 bodies? 😆
