    I’ll be on the Fatty

So where would be best in these current conditions ?

I’m thinking Dales for no special reason.

Personally, I’d be more concerned about the road conditions (ice and ungritted lanes). Where are you travelling from?

Could you use the train (Hope Valley Line or Settle-Carlisle) to get there, or to do a linear ride?

If I do the peaks then yes I would train there & back

    Dales – drive

You’d have no bother driving to the peaks as long as you stick to the main roads and park up at ladybower/hope/cutthroat, but Stanage was a no go last weekend due to the snow and would assume roads haven’t been cleared up there yet. Was great fun last weekend jumping in to snow drifts! Might be a bit muddy by now…

If you want to play in the snow on the fatty, Peak would be best. Anything we had has long been washed away except at very high levels.
