Hairy legged MTB’er dipping my toes into a bit of road ridding. Haven’t finalised the details but guessing 105/Rival. I’m using purely for fitness, but with my eye on a “Fred” at sometime.

My non experienced eye says that they’re roughly the same sort of ride. I like the idea of paying for a full bike fit and both companies offer this. Any experiences anyone?

Not sure I can comment with any expert knowledge on the bikes but I bought a PX RT-58 and whilst I love the bike, they didn’t offer me the half-price bike fit they advertise on the website (which I would have been tempted by) and then delivered my bike completely without warning one day and left it in the communal area of my block of flats for the day whilst I was at work! In fairness this was the delivery company Yodel, but still. It would have been a right pisser if somebody had nicked it.
